70 years on - Wentworth Flood Rally, 1956 - 2026

Friday 5 June 2026 Through Until SUNDAY, 7 June

PROPOSED PROGRAM FOR THE WEEKEND 
Friday, 5 June 2026 – approximately 55kms 
• COMPLUSORY BRIEFING, at TRACS grounds, Wilga Road, Red Cliffs, 8:30am 
• TRACS Trek, will leave from Wilga Road, Red Cliffs and arrive at Wentworth Showgrounds approximately 3-4pm.  Maps will be available soon on experience Wentworth website/2026 Wentworth Flood Rally and at briefing Friday morning. 
• Registration Pack & Information Desk, at the Wentworth Showgrounds, 3pm 
• COMPULSORY BRIEFING, at Wentworth Showgrounds Community Pavilion, 6pm 
• By God By Fergie Dinner, for entrants and guests at Wentworth Showgrounds Community Pavilion, 6:30pm 

Saturday, 6 June 2026 – approximately 75kms (includes 30kms of unsealed roads/tracks) 
• Ready to Rumble Breakfast, catered by Rotary Club of Wentworth 
• The Wentworth Flood Rally Trek will take participants from Wentworth Showgrounds to Pomona Irrigation District for morning tea at the Pomona Hall, through a grazing property (unsealed tracks) onto the Renmark Road, heading towards Fort Courage Caravan Park for lunch.  Return trip from Fort Courage Caravan Park to Wentworth via Renmark Road, Perry Sandhills (unsealed roads), Cadell Street, Darling Street to Wentworth Showgrounds. It is a great trek route which will show you the extent of the 1956 flood levels and levee banks built to protect the horticultural district in 1956 and 2022/2023. 
• Relax and Revive, at one of many eateries around Wentworth town (pubs & takeaway) and the Coomealla Memorial Sporting Club (Dareton) all listed on the experiencewentworth website.  Bookings should be considered. 

Sunday, 7 June 2026 – 2kms 
• Start your Engines Breakfast,  catered by a local community group 
• Wentworth Flood Rally on Show, tractors will be leaving Wentworth Showgrounds, over the Darling River into the Wentworth township. Parade past the Fergie Statue in Adelaide Street to reflect on Fergies and Drivers who have since passed. Park and parade in the Main Street of Wentworth (Darling Street). 
• Australian Book of Records,  largest gathering of TEA20 Fergie Tractors in one location in Australia. 
• Human Fergie Pull/Tow 
• Tractor & Machinery Competitions 
• Vintage Machinery Display 
• Market Stalls 
• Food Vans 
• Local businesses open for business 
• Children’s FREE entertainment
